So here’s how this whole thing started: a buddy of mine was telling me about someone who called into a local Panhandle radio show. The caller said they were from Freeport, FL, and the DJ fired back, “You mean Freakport?” and then launched into this whole bit about Freeport being famous for its swinging scene.

Now, I’d heard whispers… but I didn’t know it had lore. And I thought, “Well hell — if Freakport is already a thing, I might as well lean in and build the website. Let’s see where this goes!”

Right now it’s all just for fun, but I’m hoping it grows into something bigger — a wild, welcoming little corner of the internet where people can laugh, explore, connect, and maybe learn a thing or two.
